This website presents Cabana Sonhos do Lago and lets you check availability on WhatsApp. Here we explain, plainly, what data passes through the site, what it is used for and how you can exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Who is responsible

Cabana Sonhos do Lago, a lodging in Erval Velho, Santa Catarina, Brazil, is responsible (the controller) for the data processed through this site. Privacy contact: WhatsApp +55 49 99957-7049 or email cabanasonhosdolago@gmail.com.

2. What data passes through the site

• Availability inquiry: the name, WhatsApp number, check-in and checkout dates and number of guests you fill in on the form.
• Technical access logs: like any website, the server automatically records technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type).

Form data is not sent to our server or stored by the site. It stays in your browser and is only used to build the message that opens in WhatsApp. Your inquiry only reaches the cabin if you send that message in WhatsApp.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

• Answering your inquiry, confirming dates and arranging the booking: steps prior to a contract, at your request (LGPD, art. 7, V).
• Technical logs: keeping the site secure and running (legitimate interest, art. 7, IX) and meeting legal obligations, such as those of Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (art. 7, II).

We do not sell data, do not use your data for advertising and do not send messages unless you have started the conversation.

4. Third-party services

• WhatsApp (Meta): the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and follows the app's own privacy policy.
• Google Maps: the map in the Location section is loaded from Google when you reach it. Google may collect browsing data under its own privacy policy.

The site's photos and fonts are served from our own server, without third-party services.

5. Cookies

This site does not use its own cookies or any analytics, tracking or advertising tools, so there is no cookie banner. Only the Google map, once loaded, may use Google's own cookies.

6. How long we keep data

The site does not keep form data. Booking conversations stay on the cabin's WhatsApp for as long as needed to assist you and meet legal obligations. Technical access logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted, in line with the period required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may request at any time:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in breach of the law;
• portability, and information about who the data has been shared with;
• deletion of data processed with your consent, and withdrawal of that consent.

8. Security

The site only runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no login area or visitor database.

This policy may be updated. The date of the latest version is always shown at the top of this page.
